In a world where everything is black and white, very few manage to see these the things known as "colors". It is said that when one makes eye contact with their soulmate, their world becomes one filled with vibrant colors, until the day their soulmate passes. Some are lucky, and are able to lead long lives being able to see "blues" and "reds" and "greens" while others never get the chance.

The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare.
