What if fate gave you another chance to love the same person again?
Hua Ze Lei visits his newly married friends, Ah Si and Shan Cai, in London for the New Years and gets inspired to pursue his dream of becoming a respected classical musician after watching an orchestra. After pleading his hesitant parents to let him follow his dreams, he finally moves to London for good to join a graduate's program in music, but with very little financial support from his family. Hua Ze Lei begins to lead a humble life by choice; a life that's quite different from the privileged lifestyle he grew up with. To save money, he ends up renting a room in a house shared with four other people. Fate decides to play a trick on him when one of his housemates turns out to be Teng Tang Jing, his first love. Although they try to act friendly to each other, awkwardness eventually arise in the household and they become haunted by their memory of heartbreak as they both recall their breakup. Will second chances be possible for Lei and Jing? Can feelings remain the same even years after a breakup?
Meanwhile, Ah Si and Shan Cai are adjusting to their married life in London. Ah Si is now mostly in charge of the Dao Ming Group and has made the company successful once again, while Shan Cai has transferred from Ming De University to one of the most prestigious universities in the country to continue finishing her studies.
(this story takes place after the last ep of Meteor Garden, when Lei & CaiSi are in London)
