This is my story for the fanfiction contest - @ShadougeTeam (Shadouge Official). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. I removed some parts and characters. Maybe one day I will rewrite this story. the cover art was made by me and can be found on my deviantart.

The Song of Flowers - Sonadow
He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. Each step it took made a sloppy sound that made the blue hedgehog cringing. Sonic was screwed. He tightly shut his eyes as he saw the creature jumping towards him, protecting the book instinctively. But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." When Sonic learns that all his life was a lie, he has no choice but becoming the hero that the Prophecy of the Flowers want him to be. - ⚠️WARNING⚠️ English is NOT my first language, I'm sorry if there's any grammar error, don't hesitate about reporting it to me, as long as it stay respectful. Shadow the Hedgehog: The Cyborg
A fanfiction set in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe but with the main character being Shadow the Hedgehog, set in it's own universe with a timeline very similar to the main games Shadow must stop a new super-villain who goes by the name The Cyborg, a mad scientist who seems to be hell bent on taking Shadow out and acquiring alien technology to further his goals. As of now, this is a first draft and once I've completed every single part I will then begin working towards a second draft and after that I will continue to tweak it up until I see it worthy of being made into a comic book. The story will have two sides, Team Dark and The Cyborgs. All characters except for original ones like The Cyborg and Lucy, for example, are owned by their respective owners, but yes, you can use the original characters too. Fanfictions are not particularly my favourite thing to do, but I felt like making some as they tend to get you an audience so I figured why not start with this?
