I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. Or even seeing that movie "Escape Room" and have a dream where you have to try and survive crazy obstacles that are trying to kill you? You didn't? Oh, you got lucky, because after a normal Thursday night, I woke up in a room with six strangers and was forced to play a sick game. Sure games are fun and enjoyable, a little competition here and there and friendly competition of course, where no one gets hurt. Well the game we played was anything but friendly, at least we were friendly to each other. Or that's what I thought, before one of them stabbed me, and betrayed me and the others. I guess one of us was pretending and lying, being an imposter among us. To know who did it and what happened to all of us you can read our story. I hope you enjoy it, like one of us did. In the darkness of her dreams, she saw herself standing at a window looking down below, only to see a misting, swirling fog. She could not see the ground and did not know how far down it was. She had no idea where she was. Soon after, she was led down a dark hallway to a room with a large altar. She felt herself being lifted up and then placed back down on the hard stone surface. Now all she could see was a large man, holding a knife in his hands, with the sharp edge pointed directly over her heart...Then a different man with deep blue eyes was looking down at her, and his hand was caressing her face, telling her everything was going to be ok. A loud bang on the door made her startle and rise up. There, coming through the door, were several large angry men, dressed strangely in what looked like animal furs and carrying ominous looking weapons. Some had clubs with sharp objects attached to the ends and others had sharp axes and swords. She could hear her own screams escaping from her lips, and she opened her eyes to notice she was lying in her bed in the safety of her room in the convent where she lived. She was still trembling and had to tell herself it was just a dream. She was safe and no one would ever be able to hurt her.

I close my eyes. I'm not going to die. I'm not going to die. Suddenly, I feel my stomach drop and my head start to spin. I try to scream, but nothing comes out. I try to breathe, but my mouth is dry. I tried to look around it was no use the rest of the room was too dark, I could hear voices from outside the door but I couldn't make out what the two men were talking about, as I thought that the door opened a crack and I just could make out what was being discussed....
