"Let me say that again." He put his handgun in my face the barrow felt warm against my check like he shot it off earlier that night "Get out of the car before you get a whole in your head."
I froze in my seat. My hands tight on the steering wheel. My friend Max in the passenger seat opened his door yelling at me to get out. All my other friends were already out on the sidewalk.
I heard him pull back the hammer.
"Move." He said in a low deadly voice "Now."
My chest felt tight. Sweat beaded at my brow. I looked to the side for a second and saw Max and everyone else had already ran off.
Bang.
After a traumatic event Jacob has to move cities and start a new life in a small town. He meets a weird girl that clings to him like a sock on sweater straight out of the dryer. She's annoying and embarrassing but still there's some kind of spark between them. Jacob is trying to navigate high school, relationships and growing up while keeping a low profile. From what? His parents seem to keep that part from him.

But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete
INSIGHT ON MAI DIARY
The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. All around you could see boys of his age probably flirting, playing games, hanging out with friends and throwing parties like their life depended on them. But he was a nerd. He was a straight A student. And she was the bad girl of the school, Claire Cooper. When one meet turns out to be Claire claiming him hers, he is left devastated and knowing that not to mess with "The Claire Cooper", Lucas has no option but to give in. "I'on owe you shit so let me out this bitch" I hollered getting fed up. "What's your name?" He asked again looking over at me with a frown. He ain't ever gonna stop until I tell him. "Meesha" I lied and he chuckled cocking his head back. "I'm not asking much of you but yet you lie. Maybe I should drive you back to those gangsters-- "Bryony" I interjected.

"You're such a fucking slut. Get changed." He demanded. I could tell he was daring me to disobey by his stern glare. "No dad." I attempted to walk past him to go back to the party before he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, walking us to his car. I screamed and kicked for him to let me down but he held on even tighter until aggressively slamming me into the passenger seat. Before he went to shut the door and go to the drivers side of the car he crouched down and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "If you get out of this car I'll get Luke out here so we can beat you up till you're bloody." He threatened, proceeding to slam the door shut. My ass was glued to that seat. -------- Lily is like any other 16 year old girl, horny and tired. She's tired of constantly being bullied by her brother and his best friend, Ethan. She's dealt with it her entire life, but something begins to change between her and Ethan. What felt like hate soon became lust. He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
