Just as the title says, pretty much everything goes wrong, for the main characters Alec, Julian, Fé, and Erika. Throughout the story it will switch between viewpoints, sometimes in the same chapter. Anyway, everything starts by having just about the worst trip to Walmart ever. It progresses from there, moving forward as to how almost everything else goes wrong.

Alex Thompson was due to marry her high school sweet heart Eric Ramirez. Period. That's it. It's about as exciting as her life ever got really. A realisation that family isn't always blood related. Alcohol isn't a medicine. Violence isn't a key. Hearts were never meant to be broken. Two things to take away: you never know what is going on in someone's head and the most important thing...you never know what happens behind closed doors.
