Taking a seat on the bed and grabbing the lotion "Can we talk in the morning" I said lowly sliding on my socks and underwear. I was going to sleep so I didn't really care for a shirt "If you can't talk now then there's nothing to talk about" Kai spoke with her lip curled up causing me to smack my lip. "I said we can talk in the morning" I told her laying back in the bed trying to dogde the conversation. Watching Kai as she sat in the bed staring at nun in particular "I saw the gun in your trunk" she said talking about the gun I keep put in my car. "Why you was searching?" I questioned her I knew she wasn't searching but rather argue over that then what she was questioning me about. "Searching? Ion gotta search" she said snatching the cover back "You could get out" she added laying down facing the opposite way. She was starting to piss me off to me shit wasn't that deep I could tell her in the morning. "What's to you?" I asked her scooting closer behind her "Why everything got to be a secret with you" she whispered. That's just how I am?" I told Kai truthfully.

"Don't look at me like that..." I scoffed, licking my lips to hide my smile as I looked up at her. She was tempting. Very tempting. And it wasn't intentional, but I could tell she was falling for it anyway. Obliviously, "Like what?" Her lips curled, showing me what I tried my best to hide. She let out a small laugh, looking away so my eyes could no longer meet hers. And then, "Like you're going to make me regret my decision." _ After a traumatic event that truly exposed her to the reality that she'd been constantly warned about, Areli meets Savannah, a kind woman who brings all the best things around. But, of course, it's always too good to be true. - BOOK ONE
