Tanner James and his close friend Charles are in the African Congo, documenting undiscovered fauna and flora species for their father's research organization. During a seemingly routine inspection, they stumble upon Africa's biggest unknown secret; living, breathing, hungry dinosaurs.

The pair of friends, and Tanner's uncle Alex, must now brave the African wilderness alone, trying to survive, and get back to safety... all the while, being hunted by a relentless and unforgiving beast...
