Tyler Deaton, Alan Deaton's daughter, is a overly intellectual girl- sometimes a little too intelligent for her own good-. She is starting out as a sophomore in high school and she's best friends with Scott and Stiles. 

Then one night, she meets Derek for the first time at the veterinary clinic where Tyler found out that Scott was a werewolf.

Feeling a series of emotions, she shuts out everyone; everyone except Derek. Eventually, Derek and Tyler become best friends with love embedded beneath it. But due to the age difference, it's forbidden. In the events of that, Derek realizes that Tyler isn't human and no one knows what she is.

In the midst of their confusion, something life altering makes her see Derek as a complete and it that drives her out of Beacon Hills. 

Will she ever find out what she is?

Will she ever return to Beacon Hills in time before the Anuk Tay turns everyone to stone?
