Jane Mattingson is contended with her life. She was living in an extravagant mansion with her loving father and annoying but secretly doting brother where reality seems more of an illusion. She couldn't ask for anything more. Or so she thought. As anonymous individuals threatened to tear her so called perfect life from her, she was unceremoniously thrust into an uncharted territory where assassination and rebellion reign.
    
    Enemies are made, unlikely bonds formed, mysteries uncovered, lies and betrayals unfolded, romance was certainly out of the question - but that was the case until cold and distant Johan Gabrielle came into the picture.
