A dystopia of genetically modified animals and humans are threatened by a collapsing nuclear power plant, and it's up to Lumin and Rook to finish what others could not. In the process, Lumin's twisted past is unveiled.
This was originally an Epic Hero story for English I, but I didn't want to leave it there. I spent hours coming up with this idea, so might as well give you the chance of reading it.

A cellular disease caused by the widespread exposure to nuclear radiations. They call this disease as X-men syndrome referenced from 20th century fictional comics. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes.
