Some secrets should never be revealed. Or should they?

After a strange explosion, X and Y fear the apparition if a new threat for Kalos, and decide to get themselves implicate. But things are not as simple as they look, and nothing will go the way they want. And as those attacks take bigger scales and start to involve a large number of people, they would have no choice but to find the motive behind them to stop them; even if it means getting back on some bitter memories from three years ago they all would have preferred to forget...

Ash Ketchum, with Pikachu and the rest of his Kalos team (except for Goodra & Greninja), return home to Pallet Town, where his former travelling companions and rivals are already waiting for him. Some tell him to give up on his dream on becoming the Pokemon Master while others stay by his side. What will happen to Ash when some of his friends and rivals betray him? Read on to find out. Some of the movesets of each trainer's Pokemon will be different to what it was last seen in the Pokemon Anime. Aside from the mainstream anime characters in the story, the game character Calem and maybe a few other game/manga characters will also be included. This is my first fanfiction story, and sorry if I get any Pokemon information wrong, so feel free to correct me as well as commenting on where I can improve. Hope you enjoy. All of the artworks, photos of characters and Pokemon that I uploaded belong respectfully to their rightful owners. Only the storyline belongs to me.

A group of friends register to take part in the Kalos Pokémon League. On their journey, they'll learn how difficult the road to success can be, and what a terrible conspiracy is lurking in their region. With their ambitions challenged and their lives threatened, they'll need to pull together and outdo each other to achieve their goal. The story features material from the video game, anime and manga. But there will also be a lot of new stuff, making this adventure take place in its own unique universe. Some of the license's characters will undergo different development, while others will remain true to familiar territory. Several serious topics will be tackled (but not too violently). We both would do anything for each other. A divorce between our parents tear us apart, having Serena leave to Kalos while I stayed behind to take care of our dad in Sinnoh Years later, I grew up in a bad environment during my teenage years, where I learned how to toughen up and become aggressive towards anyone. A simple death glare was enough to make anyone cower. The reason why I couldn't leave Sinnoh was a secret I didn't want to share with anyone, but when I stopped feeling Serena's aura, I knew something was wrong and had to head to Kalos, where I hoped to not only find my perhaps kidnapped sister, but find myself in the journey up ahead and hope I can at least be the normal person I wish I can be When arriving to Kalos, I wanted to hide my appearance as much as possible.
