Then he spoke. With a deep and beautiful voice. "No need to worry, we're just taking over the ship. Any one of you is welcome to join my crew." He had a British accent. Surprisingly decent. Wait, what had he said? No worry? A little spark of hope blossomed within. Then he continued talking, killing off the new born seed of hope.
"Any one that doesn't feel comfortable sailing under my order, can stay on this ship, which will be sent to Davy Jones' locker by myself."
Evelyns story takes place around the 17th century. One day, she and her father sail to Greece, but the ship is commandeered by pirates. Their captain is annoying, mean, selfish and, okay, unbelievably hot. When the pirates take her from her ship- away from her father and life-, she does everything within her power to get of the ship before she falls. But not falling for the dark and sexy pirate is harder than it seems.
