Cody and Emma go live with their dad and Heather. Heather and mike have 3 other kids: Alex, Jake and Ryan. Cody hates his life and dad keeps yelling at him, Alex is a good kid but is stupid. Ryan is a jerk to everyone. Jake torments the hell out of Cody.
Emma is a sweetheart, but she occasionally gets upset or mad very easily. The boys constantly prank her and take her stuff or pull on her hair causing a lot of stress on her. Heather doesn't care about Emma's behavior, but mike does, he punishes the kids by having them do sentences even Emma.
Mike and Heather love their kids a lot and show them lots of love, but mike and Heather hate the gingers. Mostly mike, he says he can't live his life with those two damn kids. But he still loves Cody and Emma a lot.
