A eighteen year old girl can have the power to have mind control. Her mother's friend Lila decided to watch over her after her parents death. Now they are living in what Isabelle calls a trap house. It's surrounded by trees and in the middle of nowhere, where no one can find her. Lila decides to have a bunch of scientist and doctors to run tests on Isabelle. The doctors wanted Lila to sign a contract to the experiments.She signs a contract: If anything goes wrong in the experiment, they will use a serum to weaken her mind. Without the brain working properly she could die. To distract Isabelle from the contact, Dr.Wick, one of Isabelle's main doctors, brought his son to speak with Isabelle. She ends up falling in love with him and so did he. Vinscent thear a conversation about the contract and decides to tell Isabelle. Then she discovers her dad started sending her messages of how he died. Was everything that Lila said to her was a lie?, What will Isabelle do?

You would usually see her wearing sweats around the house or outside in her backyard on the beach since she lives on the ocean. So when she suddenly gets kidnapped one day, she wonders what she had ever done to deserve this. She hadn't done anything wrong, at least she didn't think she did. But she learns that there is something about her that is special and that she is not only human. Meet Jared Gray, the person that kidnapped Isabelle because of her being his mate.
