beyond the pole

" honey !" he called my name for what seemed like the millionth time .

i turned around & looked at him . standing up , i took off my robe & left out the dressing room . i walked to the doors of the stage as the dj called my name , to let the crowd know who was next . i swiftly made my way into the stage while the lights were shut down low . listening tot the cat calls that were made towards me , i grabbed the pole in one hand & made my way to the top . as soon as i got to the top , the lights came back on & they were a sun colored yellow .

going upside down , i started my way down the pole & i seen dollars flying in the direction i was going . opening my legs , i turned right side up & went into a split . this is what they love ? isn't it ? my thoughts always rush back when I'm up here .

i panicked . i lost it . im done . ive left .
