The world Aednat, pronounced ey-nyt, has grown up in is ruled by the dead. As the daughter of the "Sea King" she has lived her life on the ocean learning how to wield a sword and kill the dead. Its when curiosity gets the better of her and she wonders farther in to the tree line do things go downhill for the young woman.
Stranded and alone she ends up running into Ajax. Who she thinks is more good looking than anyone should in the apocalypse. After being volunteered Ajax agrees to help her reach the port that her mismatched family was heading toward. All she has to do it make it to the trading town and not make a fool of herself along the way. How hard can that be? Oh lets not forget there are the dead ones too. Well that was the plan until they found the town.

(Please read Theron 1 before moving on to this book) A stranger washes ashore on a deserted beach. With no memory of who or what he is, the only clue he has to his identity--the only thing he recalls from his past life--is a single, solitary name: Lina. But on a planet with over seven billion inhabitants, his only chance of finding her rests solely within the hands of Fate itself... and the help of a sassy, young street rat. A child's life hangs in the balance--a child whose blood is so unique it has the power to change the course of the future for one group of supernaturals in particular... and this group doesn't howl at the moon. For Lina and the other Ancients, a new war is brewing and in a very literal sense. This battle will not be fought with bullets and teeth like the massacre at Superlunar, but rather with magic and wit and maybe a little divine intervention. So, how do you fight an evil you can't touch? How do you stop a weapon you can't see? And how to you protect the ones you have no memory of loving? Easy! You have to remember what you don't know you knew... You have to remember who you are... You just have to remember. ⚠️ This story is marked "Mature" for a reason. There will be violence, strong language and sexual content. I will not write a warning for these chapters as it is already labeled for a mature audience. Please also note, this story is currently unedited. ©️ 2021 by Alyssa Michelle. All rights reserved. It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Warning: Contains sex, some violence, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. The first ten chapters will be updated to what you get in the published novel and will remain here, so you can try before you buy.
