Maya always knew something was off about her. When she turned ten, she finally pinpointed it. She was a boy, not a girl. A boy by the name of Oliver Hart, not Maya. When he finally reaches high school, he decides he needs to tell his parents. His parents are supportive, but he's not sure of anything else. When a hate crime is committed, he sees everyone's true faces. He leaves the school and disappears from Riley's life.
