My cheeks begin to heat up and my heartbeat races. I'm suddenly overwhelmed with that feeling again. You know that anxious state at the pit of your stomach before a job interview or when you're right at the top of a roller coaster waiting to drop down any second. Why does he make me feel nervous all of a sudden? Is it bad that I feel like kissing him right now? Can friends do that?
"Promise?" I look up at him with hopeful eyes.
