Horseback Riding Isn't a Sport?

So this isn't a story, I know. But, there is an opportunity to get a grant for 500 dollars for horseback riding. I really need/want this money so I can compete in the shows. Please write comments to make it better or any ideas or if you don't think horseback riding is a sport, tell me why so I can cover that in this essay! Please don't click away because I said essay!
