Rosemary's life was filled with unpleasant experiences after her father is said to have died and her mother got remarried and had another family. Only to leave her in the cruel world to fend for herself. She lives in a world filled with elemental magic and strange creatures but she's powerless, to be frank, a dud. She's trying to survive at Engraved Thornes the academy for element users, yet she could die at any moment. She thought she had friends, but they set up her death to be looked upon as a criminal and executed.

Now she is sent back in time to stop her future from happening and to solve the missing pieces in the puzzle of her life and to see if it's her destiny to die young.

The end is just the beginning.

I said in a booming voice while crossing my arms prepared for an easy battle.

"And what if we don't, LITTLE GIRL." The person seeming to be the leader said with a cocky grin.

I glared at them menacingly, clearly irritated and murmured, " Be prepared to be beaten by a LITTLE GIRL" I formed fists.

 "I don't even need any weapons to defeat you all within five minutes." I pulled out my timer and put it on for 5 minutes while smiling grimly.

A few people chuckled at my words, thinking I was bluffing.

"I think you messed with the wrong little girl" I smirked.

" Let's test that theory!" He grinned while walking closer, glowering at me, 

I frowned for a second then I mused, "Oh really? Well, I think that was enough, you already wasted a few seconds!"

She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.

And this story can be easy but also hard to understand. But I will still share it. But first we have to start from the beginning. What will this story bring? Will we be able to see the outcome?
