"Welcome to The N-I-D-R-D, National Institute for Drug Research and Development." Sam let out a very audible chuckle, causing Him to frown. "Oh, you're serious? Isn't that a very pretentious and obvious name!" He chuckled again. "Shh! So... Uhmmm... Is this... Like... You know, real?" I never stutter like this. But when you're the only 17 year old chick with blinding blonde hair in the middle of nowhere surrounded by 35 white coats at 3AM who look like they haven't been asleep since the dawn of mankind, a little stutter is quite digestible. x THE ANTICLOCK is a story about a 17 year old teenager, Elle and her pimp-cum-21 year old boyfriend, Sam. It hits you with every genre you can think of. Horror with a dash of sexual tension, bare romance with a hint of comedy, time travel, apparent aliens along with secret, underground government research centres, crime thriller, drug mafias chasing your protagonists, teenage waste and of course, highschool alongwith family drama. (Mostly it's a sci-fy thriller btw!)

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy.
