A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Kate's College Struggles
Kate is a small, shy girl who's starting college after barely graduating high school. She didn't want to go to college initially because she didn't feel like she could handle it, both academically and mentally. However, when her one and only friend Megan decided to go with her, Kate agreed. The small girl has anxiety issues due to being bullied for her childish appearance and behavior. Kate was born with permanent incontinence, making her have to wear diapers her whole life, something she was bullied for in school. It also didn't help things that she had a growth hormone deficiency, causing her to stop growing at only 4'5 tall. The bullying was only exaggerated further due to her childish mannerisms, always carrying around a stuffed animal and drinking out of sippy cups. The onset of her first college semester caused her anxiety to skyrocket to new levels, which in turn, caused her to become even more childish. Megan, Kate's only friend, was a 6'1 tall girl who had great grades through all of school, taking all advanced classes in high school and entering college with a year's worth of credits already. Her much better grades caused her to be in different classes than Kate through all of high school, but Megan used her status as the smartest student in her class to choose her schedule so that she always had lunches and study halls with Kate. The two girls became friends all the way back in kindergarten. Even back then, Megan was the smart one. She realized that Kate always needed extra help with work and would go into the teacher's office with the teacher for diaper changes. Megan felt bad for the poor girl, having stopped wearing any kind of protective underwear herself soon after she turned 2. So Megan introduced herself to Kate and they quickly became friends, Kate becoming clingy even towards Megan. How will Kate's first semester of college go? Will she be able to handle it, or will she end up flunking out or dropping out?Concluida

"Take the small one, she isn't human." Another officer came over and started to take her from my arms. She let go in shock but I grabbed her arm and I tugged back but I didn't want to hurt her. "No!" I yelled ...................... "Katerina!" She yelled "Anna!" I screamed I screamed her name as I woke up covered in sweat, I was panting and out of breath. I sat up and looked all around me. My room was dark and all that was on was my radio. I had this dream almost every night since I was taken away from Anna. This dream was real, it did happen. As you know now I am not fully human, I was not created a normal way. I was created and I am a monster...... Katerina (Kat) isn't normal but only she knows that. After she was taken away she decided to live her foster life as a shadow but sadly that doesn't work as she bounces from foster family to foster family, from school to school, and from town to town. She is constantly expelled from schools and gets into fights. After a while everything gets the best of her. After moving with a new foster family and she goes to a new school, she realizes that maybe she is not alone. She struggles with who she wants to be and who she really is, as she tries to find out how many more of her kind exist without blowing her coverConcluida

A Look Inside My Head
It started on a Monday. I don't know what happened after that. I started off normal. I was still normal, wasn't I? I don't know, I just don't know. I was happy, I should be happy, but I'm not. Maybe I am? It's like there's a blackness in my mind, and I've covered it with yellow. I hate the colour yellow, but it's what I am. It's all I am now. My friends were laughing, I was laughing, but it didn't feel like it. My face felt tight as I stretched into a smile, yet it fooled them. I shouted with them, tears coming to my eyes. They laughed harder at that, everyone crying out my name, pointing at me, tears coming to their own eyes. The hole in my heart widened. I didn't know whether they were tears of sadness or happiness. Everyone was rocking back and forth, and slowly, they seemed to form into looming monsters, with wide eyes and pale faces. We stood up, hearing the bell. The sun hurt my eyes. I ran after them, shouting with them. I was loud, too loud. My own voice hurt my head. I didn't want the attention on me, so I dragged it to my fake self; my mask. I hated myself, and what I was doing. I had walked off again. I'm not sure why, but as I blinked, my feet decided that we were not going that way. I ignored them, and they thought it was a joke. They screamed my name, startling me, making me sprint over to them. I hadn't realised how far I had really wondered off. I joined my group, only to wish I had kept walking. They were laughing again, their laughter hurting my head. It shattered my thoughts, echoed around my head, deafened any emotions. I shrieked with them. We were like monkeys, chattering together. Kate Throne is a 15 year old girl, her mother is always working, and going on business trips. Leaving her mom needing a babysitter so Kate won't be alone. She's the funny, upbeat kinda girl. Books are her life and she spends a lot of time at the library. She's a straight A student, and is kinda a nerd. Chandler is an average teen looking for a job. He spends time with his friends(manly Sam) and loves babysitting. What he didn't expect was babysitting a girl a year younger than him for five months. And maybe this girl is just a little bit insane. * "Hi or hey broskies." I speak before opening the fridge. A water is placed at the front and I grab it quickly before shutting the door. Chandler looks up for a split second. "Sup." Then he focuses back on his phone, sticking his tounge out. His fingers work away. (*winks aggressively*) I shrug before walking into the living room.
