Kody, an 14 year old boy, shunned away by the ones he held dear to him. His father had mysteriously disappeared from his life and he had no contact with any of his other relatives. He had no one to help him and no one who wanted to help him. He was weak, a burden, and just flat out useless. He couldn't control his ability to transform into his second form and he didn't seem strong enough to ever defend himself. He didn't deserve the title of 'weredog'.
"God you really are such a pain...."
"So weak..."
"You're just making it worse!"
"No one wants you here."
"Kys you mutt!"
Kody was used to getting insults like these. It was nothing new to him. To be honest, sometimes Kody thought these things were true. Maybe it would be better for him and for everyone if he was gone. It's not like he had anyone who cared anyway.....or so he thought. When Kody meets a boy with white hair, bright green eyes, and magic unlike any he's ever seen, he seems to find his whole world changing. He finally gets noticed for who he truly is and for what he achieves, he is met with feelings that cause him to question his morals and wills, and he breaks from the chains that had held him back from his true powers.
