Shattered Fire

Despite her feathered wings, Zita isn't an angel. Her family, unfortunately for her, is much further than she is from boasting that title. A trip to the city provides her with her opportunity to escape them, and she takes it. Maybe she should have stayed where she was, though, because now the haven she found is threatened, and she won't be able to save it by herself. The threat goes far beyond her haven, and tearing it down could kill her.

With nothing but a pair of mangled wings, a couple of friends, and a heightened awareness of her surroundings from years of torment, Zita will take on something without a face, without a name, and seemingly without a loose link. She's certainly glad that she didn't have a thing to her name, otherwise she might have to write a will.
