Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. It truly is amazing how quickly your life can get flipped upside down. Actually, I take that back. In my case, it was more like my life was flipped upside down, turned inside out, spun around in circles, and blown up. I wish I was kidding. One minute I was an ambitious fifteen-year-old, working part time at the Marine Research Institute, and the next, BAM!
