Louis' eyes have frozen, robbing them of their usual warmth. He is in there, Harry knows it, but it's like he just took a huge step back from life. Harry want to reach in and tell him it isn't hopeless, but he won't believe him. Harry want to rekindle his heat but he knows Louis' insides are too damp with uncried tears.
"What happened?" Harry ask.
Louis shakes his head but his eyes turn glossy as he tries to fight the weak part of him which wants to talk to Harry.
