Galen Dikshit is the weakest of potential heroes attending HHCP, the only school in a massive city for mutants. Despite being part of Team Z, the lowest classed team of their grade in the school, even his teammates have insane powers! Francis can create barriers and expand or contract them to his will. Rose can transform into a shadow and travel through the "shadow world." Will has super strength, super regeneration, and even wings to fly around to top it off. Pyrrha... let's just say is potentially the most powerful person in the school. And Galen... doesn't have the ability to sleep.
He also carries a sword that cannot be unsheathed or it he will die in a matter of seconds. Not exactly the most useful powers.
But behind this weak hero lays the mysterious identity of Dusk, a villain that uses that same unsheathed sword to create portals to anywhere known to him. He only fights for him and his followers, and, unfortunately, a powerful being known as Oblivion is holding his followers' lives on the line, so Dusk must serve him. But do circumstances change when a friendly girl named Faye makes herself a part of their lives?
