Everyone simply assumes that since he, as the name implies, is a runt, that his parents abandoned him. When a werewolf hunting group finds the camp though, Runt is forced to face the truth about his past, and the possibility of life lived in a werewolf fighting ring. His so called friend Ven, a cunning and cold vampire, does nothing to help him, instead, hoping to sell him out to the hunters a become a 'hero' by saving the camp..
