	Scanning the room for a good target when the robber spotted a young lady across the room lavished in jewels. Swiftly, he moved towards her smiling in a friendly manner. Nic talked with her as his hand slipped into the women's pocket. Suddenly she gasped. His first thought was she caught him red handed, but suddenly, she fell to the floor. To bystanders, it looked like the robber was also murderer.

	The woman was sarcastic as well as iniquitous. She had many slaves that worked in servitude because she was a woman of no mercy. To run from her, was to ask for a painful, yet colorful death. After she had killed off a few too many servants, they learned not to disobey her and to never turn their back to her. Although, she was not completely out of her mind. She had great taste on many subjects, such as food, artwork, or fashion. Her name was Celeste, which was a French name based on the Latin caelestis meaning 'heavenly', and her last name, well, her last name was unknown.

Marie finds herself holding the most powerful staff ever as she sits on her new throne. Clueless of how to use and command the staff, her parents soon sends her a mentor to teach her how to use it while they go on a vacation for 6 months. Her friend, Shaera Ivy ,the Princess of the Kingdom of Tarvisium soon to be welding the staff and her other friend, Augustine, helps her to gain her courage to rule the Kingdom. Unfortunately, some disasters strike up when her mentor is unavailable to attend her as he suddenly goes 'sick'. She soon finds someone, striding through the door claiming that they will help her and teach her how to use this staff. And that someone, isn't someone to be trusted. Marie finds herself tangled up with disasters and broken up portals leading them to their disaster. Now she can only rethink back her life decisions when she realized, she messed up, pretty bad. Well, what a nice way to start ruling your Kingdom Marie.

He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok? There are also a few violent scenes that I'll try to remember to put a warning before so you'll have a heads up. I know the main character Celeste may come across as mean and as a comment mentioned 'annoying' this book will go through editing. But I'd you choose to still read then fantastic! I wrote the story while I was still in high school, so now that I'm older rereading it, I definitely agree. However, I do still like my story and want people to enjoy it, so I felt the need to rewrite some of it.
