Deshawn "shine" Rose the kingpin of Shreveport, la is the most notorious drug dealer the city has ever seen every thing that happens in the city was in shine's control there was nothing he didn't know about or no one that wasn't on his payroll. Shine was on top living the luxury life feared by many respected by all ,until one day he finds his self in a prison cell caught up in a sloppy homicide, while doing a five year bid shine empire is up for grabs now the game has cost him the life of his wife and daughter to enemies in the street. Now Shine wants to seek revenge on everyone that was involved luckily for Shine his conviction was over turn now he is back in the streets with one thing on his mind revenge . DA young hustler "Smurf" gets close to shine in search to help him find answers and the people responsible for the death of his mom will Smurf be able to earn shines trust and become part of his empire or is there blood in the game for both them, not knowing who to trust is shine left to be forced out the game and his enemies win or can he still stand ten toes down? Justice is a runaway and has spent most of her life out on the streets, scrounging for money and food until she's taken in by Dominic, a prime Drug Lord in New Orleans. Since she was 13 he and his wife have cared for her like one of their own daughters. Growing up wasn't easy for Justice. She always felt like she didn't belong in the family, even though they treated her with open arms. She grew up along side Dominic's youngest daughter and they've been best friend's since Dominic took her in. Justice has been living her some what peaceful life up until now. Since Dominic's youngest daughter just turned 20 she's left the nest, leaving Justice alone. Once Justice turns 20 she's out, to face the world on her own. So, she ventures out to find a legal life but is continuously pulled back into the rough streets of New Orleans, noticing herself falling back into the same position she was in before Dominic takes her in, scrounging for everything no matter what the cost is. Will she be able to find a legal life of her own with problems back at home, facing her real Mother, and encountering the new, manipulating and attractive up and coming Drug Lord who's looking to steal Dominic's thrown all within the 31 Days of August?
