Despite the unnerving questions Sans did notice something.
Something did feel off, the cold lights outside collectively flicker and Sans' luminescent pupils ached as if he'd been staring at a hot light for too long, his body felt colder than usual, almost like all heat had left his bones.
Everything felt hollow.
It didn't feel real.

One day, Sans fell sick. His sickness came out of nowhere and it cannot be cured no matter how many medicines Gaster gave him. Because of the sickness, Sans stayed still on the bed, just laying down or sitting on it under the blanket. The sickness can be seen from his face, half of his white skull was a little bit darker than the rest. Gaster and Papyrus had no idea what kind of illness Sans has, but they decided to take care of him no matter what, hoping that the sickness will soon gone either because of the medicines Gaster gave him, or disappears itself.
