Moving from Chicago to Baton Rouge with her grandmother and long lost brother Quando was a rush, but not having your mother in your life, and sitting in the streets without a family made her grow up so fast. 17 year old Taylor Andrews was born and raised into the low life, even at private schools with uptight kids she could never fit in she was too "ghetto". Fighting, and getting put out of school as she tried to win her foster mothers attention, but she just ended up getting sent down South.

See, Taylor and her brother Quando are just alike. Street-minded, so he let her hang around but she see Baton Rogue is nothing like Chicago, its worse. But when Kentrell comes back from tour, and fall in love, Quando was not having it, because he know how Kentrell is. Taylor likes him too, he keep her out the way, but she afraid of what her brother has to say...will she follow her heart?...or listen to her brother? Or will the streets catch up to her first.
