By hearing my title you think I'm some very special person in Narnia. Guess what...you're wrong. I'm just a girl nobody appreciates after what I did. My father never notices me, and sometimes I wonder if he knows I still exist. People bow and say nice things, but deep down, they despise me. 'We fight for the future of Narnia, and for such, the child is pivotal.' There are Prophesies in almost every world. Many are carved into cave walls, many are passed on by wise Elders as entire civilisations hold their breathes and wait hundreds, perhaps thousands of years for something or, more usually, someone. But this particular Narnian Prophecy was sung by the stars and held as whispers in the wind. This Prophecy took but days to begin. The Kings and Queens of Narnia simply couldn't understand why an untrained girl- Lilith, was her name- was sent to them amidst the dawn of battle. Lilith herself knew not what she'd done to deserve being thrown into the eye of a storm. But the Centaurs knew. The Fauns, the Dryads, the Talking Animals- each one of them knew. Lilith did unspeakable things as a guest of Royalty. She won the heart of an imperfect King, said the most unrefined things to incredibly refined people and even attempted murder within the Castle walls. Nod my Head - A Writing Guide for Wattpad Writers
Do you find yourself writing he nodded, she shook her head, he shrugged, over and over again? It gets tedious, and doesn't help at all when it comes to pin pointing your character's actual emotions. So I've made a book using notes I've been collecting over a few years to help you chose an alternative way to show that your character is angry, or sad, etc, plus many other writing tips and resources. Doesn't, he blinked at his watch, read better than, he looked at his watch ? Doesn't, he slugged across the wet cement, read better than, he walked down the street slowly. Avoid the white room in your story and replace telling with showing to give your readers a much better experience. **** When Alice storms across the room instead of walks, we know she's angry. We're expecting suspense. We're waiting for the next action. Maybe she'l punch a wall? Shout at her friend? Much better than, Alice walked across the room angrily, which gives your reader nothing to imagine.Complete
