Haunted by the humiliating rumors spread by her ex-boyfriend, Jennifer spends her senior year lonely. A musically gifted girl, she turn to her piano to inter her deepest sorrows. It isn't until a mysterious boy enters the 50's style diner that she works at  that she finally sees hope. Soon she finds out that he is none other than the best high school football player in the United States. Avoiding any conversation about his past, she hopes to escape having to explain her own.
