Lily Potter had thrown herself in front of her twins, Elizabeth and Harry, to protect them from Voldemort. As their positioning inside their crib, Harry was in front of his sister. So he got the scar but Elizabeth got the connection. Beth now has the ability to feel what her brother feels and Dumbledore told her he believes it's fates decision.
Beth has always been Harry's shadow but now she's ready to step out into the light. She desires stability and security; something that George Weasley may be willing to give her. When the Slytherin Prince begins to pursue her, she grows conflicted about her feelings and realizes that she's finally out of Harry's shadow but is it what she imagined it to be?
