The Billionaire's Ex-Wife
Love. It was infuriating yet strangely addicting. It swirls in unknown waters, testing its limits before striking. The sensation of its claws digging into your flesh was all it took for it to become entranced. And then everything collapsed. Everything began to untangle. Everything slowly crumbled to ground. Everything began to fall apart. And you found yourself in the centre of it all, your hands cradling your heart as tears trickled down your cheeks, the salty liquid creating a dark patch on your jeans as it hit the soft fabric. As we go through life, we meet people who deeply touch our hearts and change us in meaningful ways. They leave lasting marks on our souls, transforming who we are. The footprints they leave behind guide us towards growth, ensuring we can never retrace our steps to the person we once were. And then, there was him. We found each other at the precise moment when our souls were ready to collide. Love enveloped us, and in his arms, I discovered a deep sense of belonging. Everything felt right, as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. But life has a way of unraveling even the most beautiful stories. In a cruel twist of fate, the ground beneath us began to crumble. The very thing that had given us hope and joy now carried the weight of our lives, feelings, and emotions, threatening to snatch them all away. The perfect illusion shattered, leaving behind broken fragments of what once was. He is the one who taught me how to love. But as I stand here engulfed in his absence, I realize he forgot to teach me the most crucial lesson of all-how to let go. 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨: 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯! Tragedy can happen to anyone, anytime and anywhere, and the saddest part about that truth is that tragedy is unavoidable. No one can prevent a natural disaster from happening. No one can prevent death from knocking on their doorstep - if it's an accident, or a sickness - it cannot be prevented, and it cannot be avoided. You never know on which day tragedy will come knocking on your front door. You never know who it would strike next - if it would be you, or someone else, or someone who is very close to you. The thing is, with tragedy, it doesn't ask questions before it strikes. It just does. River and Sophia were two people who experienced the same tragedy: loss, but their stories were very different from each other, but they shared the same pain of losing someone they loved, someone who was close to them. And now, suffering the aftermath of their tragedies - living with the guilt, the regret, and the grief of losing someone that was close to them, they have to try to overcome everything, before their tragedy ruins their lives forever. She fell for him, but he never knew, the depth of her love, so pure and true. her heart flutters everytime she thinks about him, she never said anything, everything remained oblivious to him. trying to protect her heart from getting broken, she didn't get time to realise, it happened so sudden. . . . . . . Whenever, wherever her thoughts made me smile so hard.. her talks run through me like water... now unspoken words silence is leaving me dry, it's absence makes my heart grow fonder. . . . . . She was like oxygen to me, that I never knew. Forever and her are synonymous, and that's where I belonged. I yearn to tell her how much I love her that I denied for so long but now I don't know where she is. . . . . . . I did not realize that I have already fallen in love with him, but it was too late he was never mine I have now decided to move on.. and so will I, its useless to dwell in the past because somewhere I knew we were never meant to be.
