A dreamer who looks for love in an already loveless world, Sansa Stark was blissfully if not willfully ignorant of the corrupted and complex ways of power and politics. Due to this, she became a prey and a captive of one of the most formidable houses in Westeros, the Lannisters. After witnessing the brutal beheading of her lord father and was also somewhat inadvertently responsible for it, Sansa knew could never trust a Lannister again--not when queen regent Cersei and her malicious son and king Joffrey make her undergo systematic abuse both of heart and body since her captivity. But after the imp, Tyrion Lannister, sought her friendship and expressed an intention to protect her, she eventually learns to accept him even though a rational part of her knew she couldn't. Sansa never could have foreseen that not only will she trust him and care for him, but she will also find herself falling in love with him despite the death and darkness that surrounded their families. This work of fiction shows the progression of their connection and romance throughout the books and seasons of the show. The title was taken from the lyrics of the song by STARS.
