They thought the end was the end. The districts sort of work together, no more games, no more manipulative capitol everything seems perfect. Katniss and Peeta have their own beautiful family and it seems like nothing can change that until the new president of the capitol sends out a wish for all the remaining victors back. Who could this new president be? Surely they can't be as bad as snow. What could possibly go wrong? Will this be the end of the star crossed lovers of district twelve or will their legacy continue?

This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about. Almost. Peeta is still alive, but also still hijacked. Will Katniss find a way to cure Peeta, and get him to come back to her? And how does their future, after the Rebellion, look? (The first 16 chapters has been re-written, because I accidentally deleted the story oops)

Annalyse lives with her three brothers in District 8, dancing for the ballet troupe in the Capitol. When her name gets pulled on Reaping Day, how will she be able to leave her family to face certain death in the arena? Will she be able to kill to survive, or fall like so many before her?

What if Katniss had been the one left in the arena? What if Katniss had been hijacked and Peeta had been swept to safety to District 13. What if the man of words was left without the one he loved? Let's find out together.
