Beth Logan and Joel Miller have lived next door to each other since they were in diapers. Because of this, a close friendship was something that was able to happen naturally. And the feelings they have developed as they've grown, are clearly there but none are too keen on acting on them. They are at the end of their junior year and will be starting their last year of high school in the fall. As things progress, they will be faced with heartache, unexpected obstacles that they won't be sure can be overcome and their relationship will be severely tested. Could their love remain always and forever even at the brink of the end of the world?
