"Psychopaths are not crazy; they are fully aware of what they do, and the consequences of those actions." - Hannibal. They say that psychopaths don't feel anything, and have never experienced any reciprocation of feelings towards other. They say that they are immoral. They say the chance of a psychopath falling in love like any other human being is exceptionally rare. A one in one million chance. But they haven't encountered Pierce Hulton yet, either. For years, Pierce has been immune to the love he's been given by his dear ones; nor does he understand the concept of any emotion. Therefore, it didn't matter that he was labelled a "neurotic freak", or a "mental nut job" or perhaps even a "callous killer". He didn't understand any of it - he didn't understand why he was sent to a youth juvenile jail at the age of 11 for stabbing one of his classmates with an ice pick in the thigh. Six years later, he's released back to his home where people await; their whisperings at the ready, where everybody knows what he's done and loathes him for it. Except Hayley Peterson. An outsider most of her life who buried herself into books and realms of fantasies. She only ever wanted to fit in with her family, friends and school. She's witty, sharp and challenging whilst empathetic, sensitive and over emotional. Everything that Pierce is not. When their paths cross on the day of his release, Hayley can't seem to forget Pierce. And he can't seem to forget Hayley - a foreign feeling he's never experienced. Yet, both of them have hidden secrets below their depth: Pierce being a calculative psychopath is in turmoil over seeing her dead; Hayley, on the other hand, is already on her journey to death. Can Hayley introduce Pierce to a new life of being able to feel something whilst keeping him away from his compulsion of seeing others in agony? **This story is listed as humour, but also is romance, thriller, crime and horror.

[COMPLETED] Autumn Cross is now in 12th grade at her new school, Willington High, with only one goal in mind: passing the 12th grade and going to a good college. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. Not only does Autumn get partnered up with Ryder for the biggest class project of the whole year, she also lives on the same street as him. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. Love could put their broken pieces back together. ----------------------------------- A sky full of stars and he was still staring at me. "Why are you staring like that?" I asked him. "You scare me, Autumn." Ryder admitted. "How come?" He looked down at the grass beneath us then back at me and gulped. "Because I want to tell you secrets I'm too scared to admit to myself." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🤍I wrote this when I was around 13-14 (i'm 19 now) so some chapters may be cringy but I am too lazy to rewrite them, and still so many people enjoy this book and i'm truly grateful!
