Marceline the Vampire Queen, and Princess Bubblegum have gone back in time. But they are in grave danger. Simon, a crazy old man with a cursed crown, Fionna, Marcelines old friend and Marshall, the blood-sucking murderer, have all been captured. Its up to Marceline, human Marceline and Bubblegum to stop whoever's behind the scheme and save their friends.
Back at the candy kingdom, Finn is trying to rule. He is quickly overpowered by the Earl of Lemongrab and has to stop him before everyone's in the dungeons. With his friend and adopted brother, Jake and Fionnas adopted sister, Cake, the three must prepare for an epic battle against the Lemons! But all is not what it seems as another dark ruler joins the dastardly Lemongrab.
Will they survive, or will they crumble under the stress?
