CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Have you ever been in a situation where a one night stand mistake changes your entire life? *** "And what if I remember you or what happened that very day, that doesn't prove I'm responsible for that life growing inside you." He said, glaring down at me. I seriously can't believe this punk! "Are you trying to say I'm some slut?" "I don't know, you tell me." He said, still glaring down at me. I felt my rage rushing into my head, blocking my sense of reasoning at this moment. "You really have some nerve to refer to me as some slut, but no matter how hard you try to put or twist it to your story. It still doesn't change the fact and truth of this situation. You are responsible for this baby!" I yelled in anger. I saw a surprise look flash through his face, but he immediately covered it up and took a step back. Resting his hip on his desk, and putting both hands into his pants pocket. "Fine. How much will it take you to remove that, and after removing it?" He asked. My eyes went wide when I understood what he was talking about. He's not only an egoistic punk, but a very heartless human being. "You must be going out of your mind if you think I'll abort this child!" I half yelled at him in anger, but it seemed like my words weren't making much of an impact on him. "Why are you trying to make things more difficult for yourself? You know that night was a mistake, so why are you trying to make it such a big deal to ruin my reputation?" He said, angry. I felt hurt by his words. It was all a mistake, but it created another life growing inside me. Why do I even feel hurt? I'm not meant to be.. *** This book completed version is available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/His-Surrogate-Heartbreak-pregnant-surrogacy-ebook/dp/B0D7SWRD4L/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1D978HK16N5GU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.n3u7OtM5D9DGktqVEQHViw.rizlbZnq74jWRky4eCjm4Gd9B6Au_0_tnAKY2DWr4Iw&dib_tag=se&keywords=Books+by+Theodora+Chijioke&qid=1719145082&sprefix=books+by+theodora+chijioke+%2Caps%2C1662&sr=8-1

|5X FEATURED · SPOTLIGHT STORY| Learning to cope with death is one of the most challenging obstacles any of us have to face, especially if that death is unexpected. When your whole world has changed, what do you do to overcome grief and keep your loved one's memory alive? *** I never knew how much trauma can affect a person until after my older brother died unexpectedly on August 17th, 2021. I came out of the experience as not the Victoria I was used to, but the Victoria who now had a massive hole in her heart. I come from a long line of fighters. My family and I pulled off different strategies to help us move on from such a devastating death-strategies that I am going to share in this book. Sometimes, the best way to overcome grief is to write about it. After all, writing is an escape to a different world where I still have my Green Guardian. These pieces and pictures I'm going to share with you are not meant to depress anybody but to illustrate just how wonderful a person Matthew was. His story is sad, but it's a story of hope. His legacy remains in my heart today, and I want to share it because I know I'm not the only person who has lost somebody so unexpectedly. *** Ovid (on when his brother died): "iamque decem vitae frater geminaverat annos, cum perit, et coepi parte carere mei." Prologue " I want to tell you something important", a beautiful girl said, playing with her hair nervously, with a shy smile on her face. " Get out!!", the man said in a rude manner, making the girl shocked. " What??", she said with shocked expressions. " Don't you have manners?? I am your Mentor and not your friend ...how dare you enter my cabin without permission", he said,in a rude tone. She was shocked seeing his rude behaviour towards her. She thought everything had changed between them and she meant something to him,not just an intern under him. " I am sorry, Sir", she said, with an expressionless face. " Did you check the new patient's medical history?", he asked her in a professional tone. " No", she replied softly. " Then what the hell are you doing here?? You have no other work except roaming here and there. Go and finish your work otherwise I will be forced to remove you from the internship program", he said rudely, making her feel humiliated. " I will not repeat the same mistake, Sir", she said and left his cabin. As soon as she left his cabin, a lone tear slipped from her left eye. She wiped the tear with a stern face and left from there without looking behind. She is a Bubbly Intern and He is her Arrogant Mentor........ Will love blossom between them??
