Xavier Hunter is a soldier from Pandora East, trying to save his people by fighting off the uncurable Infected. Driven by grief and anger, he finds himself in dangerous situations, not caring about the outcome. This is all yet to change when he finds a broken sarcastic teenager, who is not planning to cooperate with his bosses plans...

The only way to fight such a disease is through the power of will. Only the will to survive can best the disease, causing it to slowly go away as the body fights back. As the victim wants to survive and fights the disease, the better chance they have. But, everyone who has caught the disease gives up hope, and dies a slow and brutal death. This disease is known as Stigma X, or STX. Meet Ashley Reynolds, an 18 year-old girl, who is a senior in high school. Ashley comes from a family who grants her nothing but misery, and hates her very existence.
