Sakura Haruno, the squad's original ninja medic has departed the village for several years in order to receive training in the Hidden Sand Village. Katsu, Sakura's replacement, has a lot to learn about being a successful Jonin. But can she handle her first mission as one?
It becomes more than an ordinary mission when Katsu comes across three young children, each of them with distinct, striking features. Each of them claim to be either the children or siblings of original Naruto villains. Can Katsu and Kakashi train them to become ninjas who instead fight for the good of what's in their hearts?
Sasuke Uchiha, an ex-member of Squad Seven and also Katsu's ex-boyfriend, is growing stronger under Orochimaru's teaching. Will Katsu, Kakashi, and Naruto be able to succeed in capturing him and returning him to the Leaf Village after years of being gone? Or will the mission result differently? Will seeing Sasuke again cause Katsu's old, buried feelings for him to rise to the surface? Or will she finally blossom into someone bigger than herself with feelings for someone else? Is it possible that Katsu's secret dream of becoming the next Hokage could ever turn into a reality?
