Beatrice was the shy girl who seemed to fade into any crowd without even being noticed, and that was before she was given a diagnosis. She struggled with making friends even before she had been forced into a life of hospital visits and doctors visits, so what would she do when she was now that girl. You know the girl, the one that everyone is nice to because of the illness that consumed her. How was someone as socially awkward as Beatrice going to survive a life where everyone was her friend because of it and not her? Just as she almost gave up hope entirely on human beings, she meets Calum Hood. Calum had gained popularity in the hospital treatment center, mainly because he was the definition of perfection or because he had the hottest support system in the entire city. Calum was the exact opposite of Bea, which led to them ultimately attracting as opposites do.
