Fiber optic Cabling is fast becoming the first choice for data networking. The prices of fiber cables multimode and single mode have drastically come down due to volume production and innovative new technologies. A lot of new businesses looking to install network cabling are preferring fiber cable to copper cable making their network bandwidth faster and secure. Today we are going to discuss the benefits of fiber cable over the copper cabling in the data cabling business.

Benefits of fiber include:

Fiber-optic cable can carry data over longer lengths as compared to copper cable. A typical cat six cable can carry data for up to 300 feet or 90 m. This makes it harder for the copper cable especially in the warehouses and production areas where the cable runs are very long exceeding 300 ft. You either have to use a network switch or repeaters to extend the length capabilities. However with the fibre cable, the data carrying capacity length exceeds to as long as up to 40 km. This makes the fiber cable ideal for installation in the warehouses and production units.

High bandwidth for voice, video and data applications

Optical fiber can carry thousands of times more information than copper wire.

Fiber is more lightweight than copper and therefore easy to install. Copper cable equals approximately 80 lbs./1000 feet while fiber weighs about 9 lbs./1000 fee

Low loss. The higher frequency, the greater the signal loss using copper cabling. With fiber, the signal loss is the same across frequencies, except at the very highest frequencies.
Reliability - Fiber is more reliable than copper and has a longer life span

Secure - Fiber does not emit electromagnetic interference while copper cables which are unshielded are prone to electromagnetic interference.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
