A Ghost Bird fanfiction. The characters are owned by C.L. Stone author of The Ghost Bird Series
This story is a fantasy, loosely based on the books, The Borrowers by Mary Norton, and The Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks.
Sang and her family move into a tiny apartment in the walls of the Blackbourne estate. What they don't know, is that there are others like them, already taking up residence inside the sprawling house.
Sang has led a sheltered life, but when she meets North, Silas, Nathan, Kota, and Luke, they open up a whole new world for her.
Owen Blackbourne has grown up surrounded by his love of books. From the classics to fantasy, he's happiest when he's reading. But Owen has a slight problem he tries to keep hidden, even from his best friends, Sean Green, Victor Morgan and Gabriel Coleman. Since he was a child, he'd suffered from hallucinations, or what his family refers to as his illusions. He sees little people. Small people that hide in the nooks and crannies of his home. At nineteen, he thought he'd outgrown the problem. But suddenly his illusions are back. His friends try to help him, but it's not long before they're all caught up in the same illusion.
All main characters are CL Stones.
In the final moment before her destruction, Wanda Maximoff " the Scarlet Witch " is pulled into a void beyond time or form. Lost in the abyss of her guilt, a mysterious light touches her... and brings her back. Not to her world, but to another. One where magic is different. Where redemption might take shape: the world of Harry Potter.
When a luminous figure " a doe " shows her the memories of a boy abandoned and mistreated by his relatives, Wanda understands her new purpose: to protect Lily Potter's son. Though she doesn't know why she was chosen, she accepts the deal. In exchange for a chance at redemption, she will care for little Harry.
But Wanda is no ordinary witch. And this world is not ready for her. From the very first moment on Privet Drive, the Dursleys will feel that something has changed.
With power, resolve, and growing compassion, Wanda will face a new destiny. Because this time... no one will touch the boy without facing her.
After all, who better to protect the Boy Who Lived... than the Scarlet Witch herself?
Author's Disclaimer:
This story is loosely inspired by the initial premise of Strange Potter, a work I greatly admire and that served as a creative spark for developing this project. Although the plot, character development, and events are entirely original and distinct, I believe it's only fair to acknowledge that initial influence.
Likewise, this is a non-profit fanfic that blends elements from the Marvel and Harry Potter universes, whose rights belong to their respective creators and owners (Marvel/Disney and J.K. Rowling). This work is made with respect and with the intention of paying tribute to these worlds that so many of us have enjoyed.
