18-year-old orphan Riley was just waiting for a bus home from work that night. The dark shadow just appeared and pulled her away from the dimly lit bench, and along with it pulled her away from the life she once knew. It all began with a bite. Dom changed Riley forever that night. All that Riley knew was that a stranger had bitten her on the wrist and kidnapped her. She was taken away to live amongst the Werecats, a hidden species of shapeshifters. They would teach her how to control her gifts with the elements (having particular trouble with earth) and how to live with the shift that occurred every night. Riley was just starting to get comfortable when the WANTED posters started showing up. On a mission to explain to her aunt and cousin why she could never be with them again, Riley discovers that her place in Werecat society runs much deeper than she originally thought. She and her friends must overcome obstacles that could not only cost them their place in the leap, but also their lives.

Take A Walk In My Skin

25 parts Ongoing Mature

A broken family; a terrible curse; a forbidden love. What else could go wrong? Having the ability to shape shift from human to dog has its perks, but how would you feel if you were forced to pass it on, forced to give this terrible curse to someone you weren't supposed to care about? Emma didn't ask to be a skinwalker. It was a life her abusive parents chose for her, so when she is forced to meet the Leader of the Skinwalkers, Raphael, she is given a job. To survive, she took the job. Only she didn't realize the job was to transform into a dog, pretend to be a family pet, and recruit and turn others into what they are. With Blake and his son Liam, however, Emma didn't see them as a job; she saw them as a chance at life, love, freedom, and a real family. But what if Raphael finds out? Will their happiness be destroyed? Will this curse be the end? Or will love find a way to conquer all?
