The world use to be so much greater, Grander, Better. Society had something that made them Unique, it caused less problems. Everyone had something special about them. We where Happy.
But not Anymore. It's Been Burned, Scorched, Stomped on. Humanity Abused their powers they were so graciously gifted. Criminals emerged, Psycho's showed their true colors. The world became rotten.
But we're not giving up, no, far from it. We want to fight for Us, Humanity, the world. We're going to save the World Damnit.

Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

He kissed her forehead before he tucked her in and turned off the light. "Goodnight, angel." --- The world changed overnight. A mysterious system appeared in everyone's minds announcing the detection of a "Breach." Monsters unlike anything humanity had ever seen before began to emerge, immediately ending one-third of the world's population. And that was just in the beginning. Every father wants to be their daughter's hero. It's an unspoken rule written into every man's DNA. But most fathers aren't pitted up against eight legged abominations. Frank was just an ordinary man; no training, no experience, just depression and a four year old. Yet, he was all that stood between Ana and certain death. If that's the way it was, then he couldn't back down. He made a promise, and he would keep it or die trying. Luckily, the world wasn't entirely merciless. This "System" granted humanity a fighting chance: otherworldly gifts and powers that defied the laws of nature. While Frank's gift wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it did give him power. Power enough to hopefully keep his daughter safe, and punish the monsters that dared threaten her in the first place!

100 years into the future, biology has given way to a new humanoid race, the Supernaturals. However, survival for them isn't easy in a world where they are criminalized and oppressed. It's survival of the fittest, or rather, the smartest and most successful. And with a criminal underworld full of illegal Supernatural activity, things are bound to spiral out eventually. (This series has had a rocky start. I've rewritten it hundreds of times over and have finally found something to roll with. The Redemption of Maximus
The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending. I've watched humans kill for that happy ending. I've committed murder when a tyrant thought to torture the only good thing in this world I have ever found in this fucked up place. Even when I tried to save it, I still lost it. Yeah, you heard right. I am no saint. This world is far from cupcake and t ,rainbows and their isn't not one soul that could tell me different. I have had to fight to survive since the day I lii I broke out of an egg into this world. No one has ever known where I came from and from the moment I got here I've never know any kindness. I'm talking different because when I get well and truly pissed I turn into a vicious monster. An Inch Of Infinity (Short Version)
In the near future the entire world is conquered by a group of people known as Royalties, or the Royals for short. They declared war on the planet. If you were not with them, you were against them. by the end of the 21st century the world was utter chaos and anyone who did not follow the laws to the letter were taken away by the Keepers. Part ninja, part spy, part soldier, the Keepers were brainwashed citizens raised from 8 months old to be able to apprehend anyone. Only 87% made it through training. The population was cut into 6 groups, one for each block, each the size of a continent. Every other healthy child was marked at birth to become a Keeper. Children were often sent to other blocks to keep the population exactly even, but not always. Rebellions rose but were extinguished quickly, before they even really started. Eventually the only hope was a single underground rebellion until even that began to disappear.
