The world use to be so much greater, Grander, Better. Society had something that made them Unique, it caused less problems. Everyone had something special about them. We where Happy.
But not Anymore. It's Been Burned, Scorched, Stomped on. Humanity Abused their powers they were so graciously gifted. Criminals emerged, Psycho's showed their true colors. The world became rotten.
But we're not giving up, no, far from it. We want to fight for Us, Humanity, the world. We're going to save the World Damnit.
At least, we're going to try.

It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.Complete

100 years into the future, biology has given way to a new humanoid race, the Supernaturals. However, survival for them isn't easy in a world where they are criminalized and oppressed. It's survival of the fittest, or rather, the smartest and most successful. And with a criminal underworld full of illegal Supernatural activity, things are bound to spiral out eventually. (This series has had a rocky start. I've rewritten it hundreds of times over and have finally found something to roll with. Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? Frank answered before flexing dramatically, earning a giggle from her, "Besides, if they tried to hurt you, I'd just beat 'em up!" "Promise?" "Promise." He kissed her forehead before he tucked her in and turned off the light. "Goodnight, angel." --- The world changed overnight. A mysterious system appeared in everyone's minds announcing the detection of a "Breach." Monsters unlike anything humanity had ever seen before began to emerge, immediately ending one-third of the world's population. And that was just in the beginning. Every father wants to be their daughter's hero. It's an unspoken rule written into every man's DNA. But most fathers aren't pitted up against eight legged abominations. Frank was just an ordinary man; no training, no experience, just depression and a four year old. Yet, he was all that stood between Ana and certain death. If that's the way it was, then he couldn't back down. He made a promise, and he would keep it or die trying. Luckily, the world wasn't entirely merciless. This "System" granted humanity a fighting chance: otherworldly gifts and powers that defied the laws of nature. While Frank's gift wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it did give him power. Power enough to hopefully keep his daughter safe, and punish the monsters that dared threaten her in the first place!
Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

The radiation killed or transformed the living. Animals turned into hybrids and humans, well that's an interesting story. The school was created people for people like me. Those who had been transformed by the after effects. We gained "powers", the things our parents knew as fiction.
